Description
The proposed contract action will provide Support Licensing and Services for Nutanix and HYCU Platforms for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. It shall include all Licenses and Support Services for all Nodes, along with Data protection and Recovery of all Nodes through HYCU Licenses, for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will provide services for a base period and up to four (4) Option Years (OY).
EQUIPMENT COVERAGE
This Firm-Fixed Price Proposal is for a Base + 4 Option Years of Support Licensing and Services for Nutanix and HYCU Platforms at the Shreveport VA Medical Center. Contractor shall furnish all Licenses and support for the Nutanix HCI Solution for base year from 11/1/2023 through 10/31/2024, and four option years through 10/31/2028.

The contractor shall provide all necessary licensing renewal and support services on the existing Nutanix (NTNX) infrastructure at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) located at 510 E. Stoner Avenue Shreveport La 71105. OBVAMC biomedical engineering is recommending a renewal of the NTNX infrastructure. This will result in an overall cost savings by allowing further virtualization of these resource intensive clinical applications and remove the necessity of buying costly dedicated servers. This will also help increase compliance with the VA virtual first policy. The OBVAMC shall provide all power requirements, Rackspace, and network infrastructure.
