Description
The Pawnee Indian Health Center (PIHC), Indian Health Services (IHS) has a requirement for replacement of the Instrument Manager in the Laboratory Department that manages the interface between the Laboratory Information System and all the Laboratory Analyzers. Current Computer hardware and software is over 10 years old and no longer has full functionality. The interface is an integral part of the laboratory functions. Interface failure reduces efficiency and effectiveness. It requires manual data entry which increases the risk of release of erroneous patient results which can lead to misdiagnosis and treatment. To maintain regulatory compliance, Instrument Manager needs to be updated immediately.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS – The contractor shall provide:

- Instrument Manager Base Software with High Availability (1)
- Instrument Manger Interface Connection with High Availability (9)
- Specimen Management (1)
- Test Software
- Instrument Manager Base Software for Test (1)
- Instrument Manager Interface Connection for Test (4)
- Specimen Management for Test (1)
- Maintenance and Support
- Instrument Manager Maintenance and Support (1)
- Instrument Manager Maintenance and Support for Test (1)
- Professional Services
- Implementation Services for Instrument Manager Software Upgrade (1)
- Provide remote and onsite professional services for Instrument Manager upgrade assistance
- Shall assist with installing latest version of Instrument Manager software on Customer’s new test, Production and Failover servers
- Shall assist Customer with configuration of Test server if necessary, to mimic the existing Production server configuration.
