Description
The CDC Office of Safety, Security and Asset Management (OSSAM) and the WorkLife Wellness Office (WWO) work to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for CDC employees. WWO promotes a culture that improves the health and well-being of workers by integrating effective policies, programs, and processes accessible to all employees to sustain and improve performance, increase readiness, and support healthy choices and behaviors.
SECTION 2 – PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE The purpose of this procurement is to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide subscription-based licenses for access to a commercially available digital, mental health mobile application with mindfulness and meditation features that specifically fit the needs of government employees.
SECTION 3 – SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work to be performed will address improving the psychological well-being of federal employees by providing links to physical activities, stress-reduction interventions, mindfulness-based self-help interventions, and guided meditation – all with the objective of building qualities that lead to greater health, well-being and resilience, and a stronger resistance to stress among CDC employees. The Contractor will provide all labor and materials to meet the objective of this effort. SECTION 4 – CAPABILITIES The Contractor shall provide subscription-based licenses for access to a commercially available Mental Health Application that offers online mindfulness and meditation services for CDC employees. The goal is to provide CDC employees the ability to receive unlimited access to hundreds of exercises on everything from stress to sleep to focus and anxiety with the intent of reducing employee stress and improving the well-being, distress and job strain of CDC employees. The Mental Health Application must be accessible via a mobile application that must meet the following capabilities:
- Is accessible on the iOS platform
- Provide meditation and mindfulness content that is updated weekly
- Has an administrative dashboard to manage enterprise subscriptions
- Has an administrative dashboard show usage
- Is able to provide aggregate reporting on usage
