The Supervisory Information Technology Specialist performs the following duties:
- Advise other IT and data experts on a variety of situations and issues that involve applying or adapting new theories, concepts, principles, standards, methods, or practices.
- Foster the use of IT systems analysis techniques and management.
- Maintain responsibility for internal change control. This includes being responsible for system configuration, implementation, architecture, technology, functionality, tracking, operations and maintenance, enhancements, builds, and performance management.
- Apply state-of the art IT technology, best practices and information resources management (IRM) rules and regulations.
- Acquire IT hardware and software, services, and maintenance of multi-year IT and data management contracts.
- Develop and execute project plans, manage and direct workgroups, research and manage enterprise architecture contractors, evaluate factors
