As an Executive Officer, you will use your knowledge of and experience in the Office of the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion which is located within the Assistant Secretary for Administration organization to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Advising the Deputy Assistant Secretary of EEODI and other EEODI management officials in their responsibility for the review of program management and directing the development of plans, methods, and techniques to better use funds, personnel and material resources, and in the development of policies, procedures and practices.
Formulating and monitoring the operating budget; monitoring budget activities; coordinating the efforts of staff to ensure organizational budget requirements are met; managing the successful internal execution of the budget, including the monitoring of approved expenditures and benefits, facilities management and support, technology resources and legal requirements; and advising senior managers and/or officials on administrative problems stemming from non-recurring and/or unique budgetary situations.
