HHS HRSA seeking Senior Contract Specialist – PD 23R035, Office of Acquisitions Management and Policy

Your major duties and responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating the efforts of a professional and support staff in approving Procurement Plans and Request for Contract prepared by agency staff.
  • Assisting the Director in managing the DoT portfolio contract data from the Procurement Request Information System Management (PRISM) into the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS).
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to the HRSA top management staff as well as to other agency officials, on matters related to large acquisition contract management and policy.
  • Approving determinations and findings, other related pre-solicitation documentation, and solicitation documents and recommending decision actions for HRSA procurements that arc to be awarded without full and open competition.
  • Overseeing and coordinating contract negotiations with employees and staff from a variety of organizations including, Federal, State and local government, and the private sector.
  • Analyzing and approving the processes, steps and procedures that lead to the award of a contract and other business agreements that the Agency enters into.
