This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), IT Capital Planning Group (ICPG), Div. of Vendor Strategy and Management (DVSM).
As a SUPV IT SPEC (SYSANALYSIS), GS-2210-15, you will be a principle source of advice to the Group Director and Deputy Director on the full range of OIT contract, administration and procurement activities.
Duties
- Directs the interaction of OIT management and staff with the OAGM on a full range of contract and procurement related issues.
- Provides technical advice regarding transition issues and advice on improving contractor operations.
- Directs the planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the resources required to conduct IT procurements in conjunction with OAGM to solicit contractors for OIT, as well as Agency wide contracts.
- Directs monitoring of standard systems contract and financial information and provides guidance in the review of contractor produced products and deliverables.
- Directs the activities necessary to monitor day today operations of IT contracts. Monitors funding levels and burn rates, manages award fees, conducts regular oversight of contract provisions and recommends corrective actions when necessary…
