VHA seeking Chief, Systems and Database Management Unit

Summary

This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight of the Systems and Database Management unit’s efforts to advance VHA and OIC’s goals, and serves as the Chief, Systems and Database Management unit within the Systems and Reporting program, Office of Integrity and Compliance (OIC), Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

Duties

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting team goals and directing the work of subordinates.
  • Planning projects, setting deadlines, evaluating performance of subordinates, and performing other supervisory duties.
  • Allocating resources to teams; directing budget, management analysis, staffing, supply, maintenance, payroll, or similar services; and directing administrative services and activities.
  • Identifying and integrating internal and external program issues affecting the immediate organization, such as those involving technical, financial, organizational, and administrative factors.
  • Developing, implementing, evaluating, and improving processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the program.
