Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS)/Albuquerque Area Office (AAO), Albuquerque Service Unit (ASU) has a requirement for 3M Coding Software System and Support Services for the Albuquerque Indian Health Center (AIHC) located in Albuquerque, NM.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The vendor shall provide a software package program that will assist the Albuquerque Indian Health Center (AIHC) with coding of ICD-9-9-CM codes, CPT codes and HCPCS codes. This software will provide assistance to the inpatient and outpatient medical record coders in ensuring that codes are correct with minimal errors and enable the AIHC in maximizing reimbursement. Requirements are to have Codefinder software, to enable medical record coders to verify codes for correct coding and coding initiatives; DRG finder so that DRG’s (diagnostic related grouping) are captured for quality initiatives; HCPCS/CPT finder so that supply codes are captured and billing can be assessed for supplies; coding reference software so that the coders may be able to follow correct coding guidelines.
