Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), IT Budget and Finance (ITBF) is conducting market research for support to provide technical expertise and best practices for ITBF Robotic Process Automation (RPA) support. It is intended the awardee will identify, design, deploy, and operate and maintain the Bots in production. The VA seeks to understand the market capabilities to provide RPA support and requests vendors to provide response to the questions identified in this document.
TASKS – 3.1 Support continued implementation of VA Enterprise RPA governance structure, operating model, infrastructure deployment, procedures for obtaining approval for Bots, and NPE credentialing process for unattended Bots.
3.2 Identify and conduct assessment of candidate processes for project selection and prioritization.
3.3 Establish and implement metrics and methodology for valuing and scoring incubation candidates and prioritizing for automation.
3.4 Establish and implement methodology for selecting appropriate RPA tool for each automation candidate.
3.5 Evaluate, analyze, document, and streamline business processes to enable efficiencies with automation.
3.6 Determine appropriate RPA tool using established tool selection methodology.
3.7 Design and configure RPA Bots using phased implementation process.
3.8 Develop creative ideas to access data securely and efficiently in various VA systems for use by Bots.
3.9 Create library of re-usable automations that can be deployed across OIT and VA.
