Job Description:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Senior Enterprise Health Data Architect.
Assess the current EHRM data syndication and data migration requirements; maintain and update the respective strategies to meet the requirements. Review and update the data syndication and data migration architectures. Review and update the “how-to” guides documenting the data syndication and data migration execution steps. Track meta data related to all database objects. Conduct data analysis and develop white papers and presentations on data anomalies.
Develop and update the required Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation that supports the decision for an Authority to Operate (ATO) for EHRM VX130 and the OEHRM Program Data Repository.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional work experience, including experience standing up and maintaining MySQL databases within a healthcare setting
- Must have experience independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment
- Ability to perform as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms
