The position functions as a Management and Program Analyst Officer for the National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation (NCCHI) and will directly report to the Director, NCCHI. This position also serves as the Deputy Director, National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation.
Duties to include but not limited to the following:
- NCCHI Program Administration:
- NCCHI Deputy Director is the National Center’s extension of the NCCHI Director authority
- Assists the NCCHI Director and staying abreast of those tasks and issues the NCCHI Director is working on, while focusing on guiding and coordinating operational elements of NCCHI and VAPAHCS.
- Takes the lead in coordinating and developing stakeholder support and resourcing to meet the national program’s and objectives.
- Determines program goals and objectives, develops short and long range plans for achieving them in conjunction with the overall plans of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN), VA Central Office (VACO), VHA Innovation Ecosystem.
- Directs a comprehensive evaluation of program goals and objectives and makes necessary adjustments to improve delivery of patient care services; Establishes local policy in such areas as program emphasis and operating guidelines
- Administers and ensures compliance with a system designed for the development and communication of program policies and procedures in accordance with new or existing rules and regulations; and
