Description
From 2012 to 2018, VA implemented a Real Time Location System (RTLS) national Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Under this contract, hardware, multiple software applications and interfaces were integrated to achieve benefits in locating assets and improving workflow as well as to solve other business and clinical workflow issues.
The Contractor shall provide RTLS Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services, inclusive of RTLS application client and server software, operating system maintenance, operational support services, and RTLS hardware. The Contractor shall provide these services for the RTLS production and pre-production environments deployed at VA Health Care Systems (VAMCs) that use Infor® LBI (Asset Tracking Application) and CenTrak® (Location Services Technology). The Contractor shall operate, repair, and maintain hardware, software, applications, and Information Technology (IT) environments in support of RTLS applications and system components that support the four applications identified in Section 1.0 above).
Sustainment activities include: 1) Servicing CenTrak® hardware extended warranties, 2) CenTrak® software administration, updates, and upgrades 3) tag management activities, 4) Infor® LBI software administration, updates and upgrades, 5) A Single Point of Contact help desk. In addition, RTLS sustainment includes server system administration to ensure the RTLS solution and servers deployed at the VA Health Care systems conform to VA policies.
