8(a) small business Neil Hoosier & Associates (NHA) has been awarded a 5-year, $7M contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to continue its work on Evaluation & Oversight. This contract had two other bidders and was awarded using the GSA MAS contract vehicle.
Under the E&O contract, NHA reviews the Medicare appeals decisions made by the Qualified Independent Contractors (QICs) and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and quality of the decisions.
NHA has been the prime contractor on the E&O contract since 2017 and was a subcontractor on the project prior to that.
