The Division Chief (DC) position is Software Product Management (SPM), Infrastructure Operations Health (IOH), Office of Information and Technology (OIT). The incumbent serves as the DC responsible for performing managerial and supervisory functions under the purview of the Division Manager.
Major Duties:
- Plans, directs, and supervises IT work operations establishes work and project goals, objectives, and priorities; and plans the work to be accomplished by the staff.
- Provides direction, leadership and mentoring to develop and foster the leadership and management skills of subordinate Supervisors and Service Line staff.
- Directs and assigns special projects and studies to subordinates based on priorities and the ability of the assignees.
- Reviews and evaluates the performance of the subordinate, the abilities of the assignees and evaluates the performance of the subordinate on assigned projects.
