“The incumbent serves as a key advisor on strategic planning, communications, operations, human resource management, organizational effectiveness, policies, program management, and on all matters affecting the operations of the National Artificial Intelligence Institute (NAII). The incumbent recommends, plans, and manages special projects related to significant and wide-span programs, strategic planning, and mission accomplishment.”
Responsibilities:
- Plans and directs NAII operations, serves as a senior advisor, supporting the Chief of Staff, and the Director of the NAII for National Operations by providing recommendations for improving the business practices for Operations, based upon comprehensive analysis of present operations and organizational structure.
- Analyzes and evaluates current projects, budgets, resources, organizations, etc., develops comprehensive time-phased and cost-effective programs to meet mission requirements.
- Assesses operations policy and procedures, as well as commercial sector processes, policies, and procedures to ensures the NAII maintains sound and progressive programs that embody the latest professional developments in Government and the private sector.
- Establishes new fundamental concepts and criteria and stimulating the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques.
- Assesses and provides strategic direction for the development of policies.
