HUBZone small business Hunter Strategy has been awarded an 18-month, $700K contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs to develop, test, and deploy the Health Information & Gateway Exchange Software Assessment & Architectural Improvements (HINGE) – Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) based interfaces to automatically abstract clinical data elements from the Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) to the HINGE disease site-specific templates, minimizing data entry load for clinical users. This task was awarded as a HUBZone sole-source set-aside action using the GSA MAS contract vehicle.
