“The Workforce Lifecycle Systems Branch coordinates with HHS on all core enterprise HR and Talent Management Systems, serving as NIH advocates for system functionality, reporting, and analytics; leads risk management efforts for related systems and applications; and serves as the primary point of contact for HHS, OPM, and the NIH community on business requirements, system analysis, selection, development, testing, implementation, deployment, and future enhancements for HRIT technologies.”
Responsibilities:
- As the Chief of the Talent Management Section, your duties will generally include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serving as a Section Chief in HR SAID/WLSB with responsibility for the oversight, portfolios, program and project management of NIH efforts related to HR systems and applications.
- Leading multiple programs and project teams; performing the full range of supervisory functions; supervising Federal staff in a variety of disciplines; and overseeing the work of multiple contract resources.
- Preparing and defending funding requests to support the development and maintenance of enterprise IT systems and solutions to support HR business needs.
- Serving as an expert for HR information systems and solutions.
- Developing strategic plans and roadmaps for HR information systems and integration with other technologies/systems.
- Engaging with a variety of customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Fostering a creative and safe environment conducive to organizational agility and innovation.
