Jay Hawkins, an industry leader with Advanced System Administrator and Information System Engineering experience in both the private and public sectors, has taken on a new challenge as Acting Director, Data Center and Cloud Engineering at Department of Veterans affairs. In this new role, Jay manages 22 employees and 87 contractors responsible for database engineering, platforms (server/virtualization) engineering, storage engineering, and data center infrastructure engineering.
