GuideWell seeking Director IT BRM, PMO & Testing

“The Director IT Business Relationship Management (BRM), Project Management Office (PMO) and & Testing manages the functional, business and administrative activities related to business relationship management of GuideWell Source’s Medicare contract environment.  Develops and maintains multi-year joint IT and business strategies and roadmaps.  Provides leadership and oversight to staff responsible for business process optimization, business case development and solutions planning, requirements gathering, project management and software development testing by working closely with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders.  This includes the management of resources and business partners, compliance with CMS regulations and contractual obligations and the execution of IT business objectives and goals.”

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with business partners, technical consultants, IT suppliers and vendors, and business areas to accomplish business objectives.
  • Provides effective leadership, initiates action, and removes barriers that prevent progress.
  • Identifies, recommends, and resolves issues and barriers.
  • Keeps management informed of issues and progress toward solutions.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, software and development tools; maintains knowledge and understanding of CMS requirements, strategies and technology plans.
  • Defines, develops, and implements controls and metrics.
  • Develops budget and manages the department’s costs and resources.
  • Works in partnership with the IT Engineering, IT Infrastructure Services & Information Security teams…

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar area. Master’s degree in Information Technology or similar area preferred.
  • 7 years related work experience. This includes 5 years’ direct supervisory/project management lead or other leadership experience.  15 years related work experience preferred.
  • Incumbent must have experience leading or managing IT project teams with hands on experience working on:
    • developing multi-year IT and business strategies and roadmaps
    • working on business process optimization efforts,
    • developing business cases and solutions plans,
    • gathering business and system requirements,
    • experience working as a tester or leading a testing group.
  • Understanding and knowledge of testing tools such as HP ALM, Selenium, Load Runner, JAWs, and SOAP.
