RELI Group is honored to receive the 2022 HIRE Vets Medallion Award for the third year in a row. This year, RELI has received the Platinum Medallion Award the demonstration of both patriotism and recognition of the values that veterans bring to the workplace. The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal award recognizing exceptional achievement in veteran employment.
“We are extremely honored to receive this award for the third year in a row, recognizing our dedication to employing our nation’s veterans,” said CEO Swami Swaminathan. “These folks have selflessly served our country through their time in the military, and now continue to impact our nation through the work they do every day at RELI.”
The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Medallion Program is awarded to RELI for their display of exemplary efforts in recruiting, employing and retaining the nation’s veterans. RELI’s veteran hire rate is more than 10% of its 2021 hires, and its retention rate more than 85% for the whole of 2020. RELI Group currently employs more than 70 veterans within the company.
“Even though I have only been at the company for a few months, I already feel a part of the team. Culture is the heartbeat of the company, and I can feel it even in a virtual environment,” said CJ Walker, a training specialist at RELI and a veteran of the Army National Guard. “The leadership team exemplifies servant leadership, humility and authenticity.”
One of RELI’s most impactful programs is its internship program in association with the Maryland Center for Veterans Training & Education (MCVET). This program allows homeless veterans to work as interns to provide them with work experience and a source of income. Read the full press release here.
