LCG Inc today announced it has been awarded a contract by the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) to design and develop an innovative, modernized, and enhanced website as a key component of the Institute’s roll-out of a new strategic plan for 2022-2026.
During the one-year contract, LCG will guide development of a new website and provide public affairs counsel to NINR to help ensure the Institute meets its strategic goal of “dismantling structures that perpetuate racism and impede health equity” through a more easily accessible website that is able to readily reach underserved communities.
“The work of NINR is a critical aspect of the nation’s ability to address inequities by discovering solutions across clinical, community, and policy settings,” said Conrad Kenley, president and CEO of LCG Inc. “By being a part of these efforts at NINR, we will be working side-by-side with the Institute to remove structural barriers from research, cultivating diversity in perspectives and ideas, and fostering inclusion and accessibility in designing, conducting, and participating in research.”
The website will be optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms, while ensuring best practices are applied for usability and accessibility following the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA) and US Web Design System principles.
Additional services provided under the contract include project management, content marketing strategy, content automation, and training for NINR staff.
