Summary
This is a Senior Level (SL) position located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of the Administrator (OA).
As a Principal Digital Strategy Officer, SL-2210-00, you will articulate CMS’s Digital Strategy and serve as the coordination point across the enterprise for CMS’s digital transformation.
Duties
- Consult and collaborate with officials developing systems or policy proposals.
- Provide technical, policy, and programmatic guidance to government leaders at the most senior levels.
- Adapt planning approaches, documents, and solutions to continuously improve results and outcomes for those initiatives the incumbent leads, advancing CMS’s digital transformation and strategy.
- Manage complex stakeholder environments, build coalitions with senior level officials across components to garner support and consensus for agency digital strategies, goals, and services.
- Contribute to a talent strategy designed to bring in leadership and staff with the skills needed to deliver digital services or support CMS digital service initiatives.
