FedScoop: VA names Faith Roy as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer

The Department of Veterans Affairs has named Faith Roy as permanent deputy chief information security officer, FedScoop understands.

In addition, she takes up the post of executive director for cybersecurity integrations, logistics and planning within the agency’s Office of Information Security…

A VA spokesperson confirmed Roy’s appointment, saying: “Faith previously performed these duties in an acting capacity and brings a wealth of public and private sector expertise in information technology, human capital, and financial management.
