“As a Business Development Manager, you will identify, develop, and drive large, programmatic pursuits across the US Federal Government and identified commercial markets. Primarily pursue IT software and service opportunities in Low-Code, No-Code Business Process Management, Change Management and Business Transformation to improve efficiency and effectiveness of a process and/or organization.”
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify opportunities that map to Bizflow’s capabilities
- Manage the growth and bid relationships with our strategic partners
- Plan, manage and control the business development and capture stages of a pursuit until award
- Meet regularly with customers to ensure our value propositions meets their needs to fulfill the outcome requirements of the opportunity
- Conduct a competitive analysis, develop win strategy, and win themes, prepare, and support the proposal development
- Provide a continuous rolling three-year pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Secure contracts and leverage relationships to increase company’s footprint and market share
- Execute the company growth strategy for the federal government business that aligns with the company’s strategic and financial goals
- Market and network with system integrators and future customers at social events and industry days to communicate and brand BizFlow’s solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or marketing major
- 5 to 15 years of Business Development experience with increasing responsibilities
- Excellent Presentation, Communication, and Organizational Skills
- Proficiency level understanding of the federal procurement cycle
- Experience at communicating customer requirements to software engineers within a technology software company
- Strong understanding and experience with software as a service, cloud solutions, and Business Process Model (BPM)/Workflow
- Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape within the automated workflow or BPM market
- Program management experience that compliments qualifying and solutioning deals
- Strong team player willing to roll your sleeves up that works well with others
- Security clearance is a plus
- Five years Capture Manager experience is a plus
- Five years of commercial business development experience is a plus
- Direct business development experience within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Health Agency, Social Security Administration, and Health and Human Services agencies is a plus!
