Comagine Health seeking Director, Applications and Software Solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Works with leadership to create and implement a strategy to optimally meet the organization’s software solutions needs. Seeks to maximize all implemented solutions and to avoid needless duplication.
  • Works with internal business partners, external partners, and vendors to meet business needs for technology solutions
  • Manages vendor relationships, renewals, and right-sizing of commercial off-the-shelf software for business units across the organization
  • Produces technology and staffing estimates, in collaboration with the business, to support planning, budgeting, and business development activities
  • Contributes to overall IT Services strategic planning, budgeting, and prioritization for projects, staffing, and systems
  • Manages a team of web developers, administrators, and analysts to establish and maintain applications, software solutions, processes, and quality standards.
  • Works closely with the IT Services Project Manager to develop implement, integrate, and develop plans to ensure accurate estimations and timely completion of projects.
  • Understands interoperability of Comagine Health systems, establishes technical objectives, and provides project and task management and oversight of team members.
  • Develops goals, metrics, and reports to help determine if the Applications & SW Solutions team are achieving corporate and team objectives
  • Provides oversight & leadership in identifying new opportunities and leading efforts to improve IT Services processes & the end-user experience

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in software application management, business analysis and software development life cycle (SDLC) that includes project management, vendor management, and capacity planning
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • 4+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • BA/BS in a related field (Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted)
  • MA/MS in a related field preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Background working with web software solutions and managing web developers
  • Experience implementing and managing CRM systems
  • Strong business process analytical skills and how to implement change while working with the internal culture of the organization
  • Ability to strategize & oversee approaches needed to implement and integrate new technology in a manner that facilitates stakeholder buy-in while minimizing work disruptions.
