Requirements Document

This Requirements Document provides high-level requirements for the configuration and customization of OpenClinica® software for use for this new database for the Metropolitan Atlanta Congenital Defects Program (MACDP). Development should follow an Agile Methodology, with detailed requirements and deliverables defined within each sprint. The intended audience is the project manager, project team, subject matter experts (SMEs), and any stakeholder whose input/approval into the requirements definitions process is needed.

Hardware/Software Requirements

This new database for MACDP shall be designed and developed using OpenClinica®. It shall be a webbased application compatible with various web browsers (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge).

Performance Requirements This new database for MACDP shall provide a secure and fast database:

  1. Rapid load and render times for multiple simultaneous users searching existing records and conducting data entry
  2. Reliable (>99.9% uptime) and available consistently with the user’s host device and network…
