Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an account plan to meet the organization’s pipeline and revenue goals.
- Develop strong relationships with key industry leaders to build trust and gain insight into the needs of the customer.
- Deliver a growth-oriented mindset and attitude, knowing how to connect strategy to outcomes at key growth accounts to include but not limited to DOT, FDIC, HHS, DHA, VA, and Labor.
- Support the full BD lifecycle of deals in the pipeline from initial deal identification to contract award.
- Aggressively lead account-level deal identification and qualification to increase the number of submitted deals.
- Lead the development of RFIs, sources sought and other pre-sales activities
- Support the capture and proposal efforts for fully qualified deals.
Required Experience:
- Must have 5+ years of progressive growth in Business Development and/or technical sales
- Must have experience with at least one of the following: DOT, CMS, HHS, VA, Defense Health Agency, or FDIC.
- Experience with Appian and/or other commercial software platforms preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Any form of continuing education is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Account or large program management experience in the Health/Civilian market
- Demonstrable ability to win IT services or solutions related awards valued at $25M+ in the U.S. Civilian market
- Enterprise sales experience, including successful large program ($25M+) capture
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both technical and analytical domains and experience identifying bid opportunities and leading proposal responses
- Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through
- A good understanding of government procurement and government contract vehicles
