“AWS is seeking a Strategic Business Development leader who understands the US Federal Healthcare and Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization, trends impacting the industry, and can drive growth across the sector by leveraging the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform.
As part of an exciting strategy and growth team, you will develop and execute go-to-market plans, working with executive customers and existing account teams to identify, qualify and pursue strategic growth opportunities for enterprise mission customers. You will engage with segment sales, capture, solutions architects, partner and professional services organizations to drive large and complex opportunities to closure.
The ideal candidate will have a business development or consulting background, experience working with Federal Healthcare customers at the CxO level or above, with a good understanding of legacy and emerging technologies in the Federal space. S/he should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
Other experiences to include: experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; ability to navigate across AWS and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach; and, establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations. A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas,SaaS,PaaS) is preferred.”
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience with quota accountability
- 7+ years’ experience working directly with enterprise accounts
- 5+ years’ experience selling to US Federal Healthcare customers
- 3+ years of experience selling complex database, data center and cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical degree.

- Solid organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
