Update: VA Provides Q&A for Cloud-based Enterprise Human Capital Management Platform

  1. “Can the Government please explain what are the top 3 outcomes that VA is planning to achieve with the HR modernization effort?

Answer:

  • Support the Legacy HR Management System (separate contract): Build customer centric, integrated services leveraging Core HR system and standardizing business processes across all Administrations and Staff Offices. Continue providing enhancements to the Core HR system allowing for continued support to VA HR communities.
  • Support the new contract/new modernization (subject contract): Modernize Core HR delivering a stable long-term HR solution that will keep pace with technology and provide best in class HR Services for improved services to Veterans. Modernization will be required to integrate with legacy system until full decommissioning
  • Leverage HR automated solutions that are agile in keeping pace with VA’s evolving needs…”

The Center for Enterprise Human Resources Information Services (CEHRIS) seeks an Enterprise HCM platform that improves upon current HR and Administrations (HR&A)/ Operations, Security, and Preparedness (OSP) capabilities and achieves all and/or many key leading practices pertinent to HR&A/OSP management…”
