GSA RFI: Virtual 2-day training and matchmaking event

“The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to measure the interest and availability of vendors that can provide a virtual event and virtual matchmaking services for a 2-day small business training to be conducted July 26th and July 27th, 2022.”

“Objectives (Scope): OSDBU will host a virtual 2-day national training and matchmaking event for small businesses, and training for the Federal acquisition workforce. The first day of the event will focus on the vendor community and shall include:

  • Small Businesses (SBs);
  • Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs);
  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs);
  • Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs); and
  • Historically Underutilized Business Zone Small Businesses (HUBZones)”

“The goal of the first day of the virtual training and matchmaking event is to offer training sessions, various education topics, and create connections between other than small GSA prime contractors, small businesses, and Federal agencies.”

“The second day of the event will focus on the Federal Acquisition Workforce community and shall include:

  • Contracting Officers;
  • Contract Specialists;
  • Program Managers; and
  • Cost Estimators”

“The goal of the second day of the virtual training and matchmaking event is to educate the Federal acquisition workforce on small business-related topics, resulting in the attainment of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs), issued by GSA, for the courses which are completed…”
