Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes go-to-market strategies for digital solutions for data, data analytics, and data science, including AI, in support of surveillance systems involving state and local and/or international public health entities.
- Develops and maintains sticky relationships with key CDC staff, including CSELS and the Public Health Science and Surveillance Division (DDPHSS), such as the Infectious (DDID) and Non-Infectious (DDID) Divisions.
- Leads conversations and introduces cloud-based data, data analytics, and data science, including AI, solutions to the CDC customer.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with key partner organizations, including digital services firms, cloud service providers, and systems integrators for expansion of pipeline and generation of differentiated win themes.
- Leads proposal efforts, including articulation of wins themes and differentiated value with respect to AI at CDC, as well as pricing and licensing approaches.
- Manages the opportunity lifecycle for the digital CDC team. Grows a 3x pipeline with a strong track record for converting pipeline to wins.
- Works collaboratively with other digital leaders in the Abt organization to cross-fertilize business development activities across major accounts.
- Acts as a thought leader in the market focused on the intersection of policy research, data, data science, leading edge AI, and opportunities at CDC.
- Manages oversight of project delivery for CDC digital project work, including management of project digital leads, oversight of quality, maintenance of necessary skill sets like FHIR/HL7, and connection of current delivery to new project opportunities.
- Manages the creation of new product IP, including digital solutions for AI in service of CDC’s mission.
- Works collaboratively across the Abt organization to act as a change leader. For example, manages the process of digitizing the value chain of project delivery for CDC-focused data, data analytics, and data science work. Works with CDC-sponsored solutions that have been employed in support of research and evaluation studies (e.g., RedCAP and other related solutions).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree + Nine years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Seven years of relevant experience, or PhD + Four years of relevant experience.
- Added experience considered a plus would include:
- State and local health management digital solutions
- Other HHS civilian accounts
