VA RFI: Salesforce/MuleSoft subscription licenses and support

“The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information and Technology (OIT),  Development Security and Operations (DSO), Product Engineering (PE), Digital Transformation Center (DTC) has a requirement for access to enterprise brand name Salesforce/MuleSoft subscription licenses for continued access to the following Salesforce Application Suite of products already in use at VA (as detailed in the pricing sheet addendum): Platform; Einstein Analytics; Analytics for Community; Social Listening; Salesforce Connect; Salesforce Scheduler; Survey Response; Customer Community; Customer Community Plus; Force.com; Wave Analytics Cloud; Health Cloud and Service Cloud; Salesforce Shield; and Service Cloud.”

“Salesforce is a multi-tenant architecture Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) with software delivered via the cloud through a subscription service delivery model, commonly referred to as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). MuleSoft is a foundational best of breed integration and Application Programming Interface (API) technology PaaS supporting 15+ programs at VA. PE DTC has a requirement for access to enterprise brand name MuleSoft subscription licenses for continued access to the following MuleSoft suite of products already in use at VA: MuleSoft Anypoint Platform; API Manager and Analytics; Production Core; Pre-Production Core; and Anypoint Premium Connectors. Included in the PaaS and SaaS are associated software maintenance and support which include patches, updates, helpdesk support, and architectural support (in a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certified government cloud) required by VA to sustain and expand deployment of VA’s Salesforce and MuleSoft Application Suite…”
