CDC RFP: CDC Assist continued support

“Purpose: The objective of this contract is to continue support of CDC Assist® through operations and maintenance activities for the platform and supported campaigns, as well as build on the existing infrastructure and allow for required expansion, enhancements, pilots, and future emergency response support as needs arise.”

“Scope of Work: CDC Assist® platform is the administrative application that participants use to support various tools /campaigns for monitoring of individuals with varying needs of messaging capability. Content of messages vary based on the campaign, illness or vaccine type and/or when an event is reported.”

“CDC Assist® leverages the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and highcapacity Aspect Cloud Service for SMS Gateway service to worldwide mobile carriers. Applications utilize Microsoft Azure cloud computing. Message flow protocols are established and conducted with the assessment entity in Health360 which is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365. Questions are provided to the participant and answers to those questions are stored on their record in Health360 for monitoring participant answers and to provide reporting functionality utilizing views and dashboards as well as the participant record. Upon enrollment, a text or email is sent to the participant with a link to the portal.”

“CDC Assist® currently supports the Text Illness Monitoring (TIM) and VaxTextSM campaigns with data being collected from participants in various stages of the monitoring process…”
