“Maintain responsibility for identifying, qualifying, and executing growth opportunities within the federal health marketplace to meet revenue and profit growth goals. Collaborate as an integrated team member across account leadership teams in a highly matrixed culture. Maintain responsibility for executing client call plans, including development, delivery, and presentation of concept papers, client briefings, formal and informal proposal responses, and other outreach efforts to qualify and inform bid no bid decisions in support of advancing new and take-share opportunities through the entire federal health business development life cycle, 18 – 24 months ahead of solicitation release. Blend delivery and client relationships to drive growth and new sales channels. Work alongside the leadership team to help create and execute the growth strategy for the federal health market.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior business development role with a major federal government contractor focused on management, technology, and life science sales
- Experience with the federal health market, including organizational structure, competitive landscape, and buying patterns
- Experience with managing all elements of the capture and proposal life cycle, including developing pipeline, executing call plans, facilitating client meetings, designing teaming strategy, negotiating with team partners, and pricing and proposal development
- Knowledge of BD tools and processes to drive efficient capture and proposal efforts
