“The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology is working to enhance veteran experience on the customer end.
- Todd Simpson, deputy assistant secretary for development, security and operations (DevSecOps) at the VA Office of Information and Technology, said the DevSecOps software development approach, which involves moving from a project focus to a product focus and using agile techniques, is helping the VA strengthen relationships with its veteran customers.
- He said his DevSecOps organization brings together developers, portfolios, product lines, help desk, user support and engineering and network components, leading to better service transition and faster resolution of issues.
