“The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology, Enterprise Program Management Office, Software Testing and 508, Section 508 Office requires software and services to assess the degree of compliance of websites in development and sustainment, and various software platforms or collaboration environment/tools.  The VA Section 508 Program Office was established within VA in order to provide accessible services, conformances testing solutions, and innovative strategies for implementing the goals and objectives of the Section 508 legislation.  Additionally, this Program Office helps to increase awareness of both accessibility-related programs for internal and external VA stakeholders. The VA Section 508 Office is responsible for determining the accessibility compliance levels of Information and Communications Technology developed, procured, maintained, or used by VA…”

“Scope: Contractor shall conduct project management; automated and manual testing; dashboard reporting; help desk activities; and training in support of VA’s Section 508 accessibility compliance assessments of ICT…”

“Scope of this testing includes annual totals of approximately 5,600 web sites (simple sites or sites with basic downloadable content); 100 varied content (e.g., PDFs, video content, non-web content, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents); 50 mobile applications; and 600 eLearning courses. Optional testing may include up to approximately 360 SharePoint sites annually…”
