NIH DCRI seeks Chief of Technical Operations

“The Chief of Technical Operations serves as an alter ego and shares fully with the Chief Information Officer in the management of all phases of work performed in the DCRI.

Duties: 

  • Participating with the CIO in policy development and guidance, program direction, and the exercise of departmental authority over the information systems throughout the Clinical Center. 
  • Promoting effective IT operations by implementing budget-linked capital planning and performance-based management. 
  • Facilitating the development, implementation, and maintenance of a sound and integrated IT architecture; and promoting effective design and operation of all IT processes. 
  • Providing policy direction, leadership, and oversight of day-to-day functional activities of IT. 
  • Guiding the development of strategic planning for IT functions; promotes effective and efficient design and operation of major information resources management processes.”
