HHS HRSA seeks Chief Data Officer

“This position is a mission critical occupation and is responsible for ensuring that operational and fiscal activities align with and enable accomplishment of Health Resources and Services Administration’s mission, goals and objectives.” 

“Responsibilities: 

  • Serving as a senior advisor on broad issues relating to policy proposals and adherence towards a formal data governance framework and data life cycle practices to unlock the potential of government data. 
  • Directing and coordinating the establishment of policies and procedures regarding use of HRSA data, promoting maximum access for users, while maintaining beneficiary privacy and security. 
  • Managing major projects concerning HRSA’s current data-related activities, identify gaps, and make recommendations for improvement. 
  • Supporting HRSA Data Initiatives by evaluating current data collection and management efforts to improve data quality and transparency, enhancing data management practices, integrating data delivery and leading the governance of data management practices.”
