“Objective: The objective of this contract is to provide performance and process improvement support to the Military Health System (MHS) throughout the entire spectrum of health care services at its headquarters, operational medical environments and Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). Through coordination with Navy Medicine’s Comptroller and Improvement Science Director, commands across the continuum of care request performance improvement projects. The support from this contract will provide the services and resources needed to meet the requests from the commands. Since then, numerous studies have taken place focusing on the entire spectrum of care from operational environments to hospital settings and other healthcare related areas. The sponsor of this work resides within the Improvement Science (IS) Office. The Executive Director (TED) at BUMED requires work of this nature to have a champion from within the project focus area. All projects are requested of the IS Office through a formal request and approval process.”
“Task Areas: The contractor shall perform tasks that encompass the entire healthcare spectrum of care and any ancillary services, MHS supply chains, clinical service lines, and administrative services that contribute to the quality and effectiveness of care provided to military members.”
“Scope of Task Orders: The contractor shall perform project support services in various clinical locations, both CONUS and OCONUS. While the focus may be different from project-to-project, each task order will involve a scoping, planning, and implementation phase…”
