VA taps Acting Chief Health Informatics Officer, Office of Community Care

Dr. David Massaro, an industry leader with experience as a primary care physician and medical officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), has taken on a new challenge as Acting Chief Health Informatics Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)’s Office of Community Care.

Prior roles include:

  • Director for Integrated Health Practice – Office of Health Informatics, VA Central Office – Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Deputy Chief Medical Officer, VA MidSouth Healthcare Network – Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Interim Chief Medical Officer – VA MidSouth Healthcare Network – Department of Veterans Affairs
