Press Release: CVP Awarded National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) for Healthcare Systems Analysis to Help Patients with Rare Diseases

“Customer Value Partners (CVP), an award-winning business and technology consulting firm, has won a contract to support the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Impact of Rare Diseases on Patients and Healthcare Systems (IDeaS) program in partnership with George Washington University (GW). CVP and GW will provide NCATS with computational tools, methodologies, and analysis of large healthcare system datasets to understand the prevalence, clinical course, cost, and utilization impact of rare diseases. In developing predictive models to more accurately and quickly identify rare diseases, CVP and GW will help NCATS disseminate tools and strategies to the medical and research communities to cut the time to diagnosis and decrease costs—resulting in improved outcomes for patients while freeing up funds that can be reallocated to identifying new treatments for rare disease patients.”

“’The execution of this complex project requires the right blend of unique skills. With our recent acquisition of Atlas Research, CVP has assembled an integrated team of subject matter experts to solve this important challenge,’ said CVP CEO, Anirudh Kulkarni. ‘This win—representing the opportunity to support innovative, impactful work—validates our decision to combine these two firms to pursue growth in new service areas.'” Read the full press release here.
