MITRE taps industry veteran Pete Leroy to be Vice President Business Strategy and Performance

Pete Leroy, armed with over 25 years Program Management, Operations, Strategy and Business Development experience, has been tapped as Vice President Business Strategy and Performance for the not-for-profit Research and Development firm MITRE. Pete was previously serving as Vice President, Integration and Operations.

In his new role, Pete will serve as a company officer and member of MITRE’s senior leadership team, responsible for leading the development and management of the sector’s strategy, operations of the sector’s $850M portfolio, and the sector’s engagement in MITRE’s multi-year business transformation efforts. Pete will also be responsible for the assessment of internal and external environments, risks and opportunities, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization to understand the impact on the Sector’s current or planned strategic direction.

Prior roles include:

  • Vice President, Integration and Operations — MITRE
  • Vice President, Chief of Staff Military and Veterans Health Business Operations — Leidos
  • Vice President, DHMSM (MHS GENESIS) Program Manager — Leidos
