“Duties
- This position is for the Technical Director within the Program Executive Office Defense Health Management Systems (PEO DHMS), DOD Healthcare Management Systems Modernization Program Management Office (DHMSM PMO)
- Leads expert and principle technical advisor to senior agency officials responsible for the planning, direction, and management of strategic technical efforts as assigned by the Department of Defense (DOD).
- Represents the program in technical efforts including planning and establishing the technical roadmap and boundaries of assigned areas with consideration of general requirements and scope of effort.
- Provides technical advice and assistance to resolve problems and maintain continuity of work.
- Provides strategic oversight in the preparation of program documentation in support of systems engineering and cybersecurity efforts.
- Recommends adjustments or shifts in program emphasis to obtain the desired balance of programmed objectives for major programs.
