McLean, VA, November 5, 2021 – Mackson Consulting, a wholly-owned subsidiary of A-TEK Inc., announced today that it was recently awarded a 5-year contract to provide Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Development, Implementation and Space Management Services to the National Institutes of Health, Office of Research Facilities (ORF), Division of Facilities Stewardship (DFS), Portfolio Assessment Reporting Branch (PARB).
PARB’s mission is to maintain NIH space and facility data as a vital asset to provide its Institutes and Centers (ICs) with a single source of up-to-date accurate space data for better planning and management of space, and resource management. This is not only critical to central management of facility resources, but also supports other key NIH functions such as collecting rent, design and construction related activities, campus and space planning, personnel census, real property reporting, and asset tracking.
Under the new contract, Mackson will collaborate with PARB leadership to provide expert space management support as well as continued enhancements and operations and maintenance of the NIH Facility Information Management System.
