A modification of VBA’s current task order for Business Architecture, Requirements and Strategy (BARS) services is necessary to achieve the following objectives: add capacity for business architecture; IT investment multi-year planning, and requirements elicitation. The contemplated modification will provide:
- Additional time to be spent for quality management reviews, performance management and strategic guidance
- Increased project support for each of the new architecture deliverables to ensure they are modernized and fully compliant with the VA Architecture Framework (VAAF), which includes compliance to bot the latest FEAF and DoDA
- Additional support for multi-year planning and operations
- Additional requirements elicitation and management for additional priorities

The period of performance for these services is September 29, 2021 to September 28, 2022. The total estimated value of the proposed action is $ 2,088,170.40.
