HHS Sources Sought: Cloud Based Antivirus Scanner for Salesforce

“Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is developing a new system using Salesforce platform, a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) customer relationship management or case management tool with document management and workflow capabilities that securely interface with internal and external systems. Currently, there is no native solution available on the Salesforce platform to ensure prevention of attacks to the user’s workstations, servers or applications via files and URLs uploaded to and downloaded from Salesforce. In order to overcome this risk, it is essential for to integrate Antivirus Scanning software for UC Path Salesforce environment.”

  • Anti-Malware Capability for Files
  • Anti-Malware Engine

  • Location of file scanning and how is this integrated with Salesforce
  • File scanning efficiency/ mechanism
  • Secure Transfer of Files-files transfer from Salesforce to the anti-malware engine
  • Post threat detection behavior
  • Upload & Download- scan the files at the time of upload to Salesforce or at the time of download from Salesforce
  • Dependency on network changes and proxy servers
  • Solution consume Salesforce API calls -any a daily limit
  • Reporting in Salesforce
  • Reports and dashboards in Salesforce to monitor and review malware scanning results
  • Supported Clouds
  • Support-premier support (24/7) options for global customers”

“This notice is published to determine the interest and capabilities of potential vendors. It is the Government’s intention to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for these licenses. The Government contemplates the contract having a period of performance that includes a 12-month base period and two (2) 12-month options periods. Release of a solicitation is tentatively planned for the first quarter of fiscal year 2022 (Oct-Dec 2021).”
