“The incumbent serves as the IT Program Manager with responsibility for managing the vision and strategy for CDC’s enterprise data analytics and visualization product line and related Office of the Chief Information Office (OCIO) products and ensure alignment to customer needs and modernization goals.”
Responsibilities:
- Guide the success of the enterprise data analytics and visualization product lines and related products and lead the cross-functional team responsible for improving them.
- Develop product line and related product roadmaps and prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product.
- Set the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the product line and related products.
- Set product line, vision and strategy and clearly articulates the business value to the product team, senior management and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain product lifecycle roadmaps including upcoming features and technical considerations that convey how products will evolve over time to meet changing customer needs and business objectives.
- Direct the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas in order to determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business.
- Consult with OCIO Account Managers and product customers to assess and anticipate current and future product requirements and functionality to develop a long-term product plan.
- Develop service-level agreements for the product’s business outcomes.
- Build and hire world-class technology talent for the product team.
- Monitor customer experience and customer feedback to inform the product strategy.
- Coordinate with solutions, data, and enterprise architects to align product line and other related products.
- Oversee product operations and guide continuous improvement efforts to support business outcomes.
- Perform the full range of oversight responsibilities of a large and diverse IT staff including IT Specialist managers, supervisors, senior level Project Management staff and contract staff across OCIO.
