The CAI User Guide and Data Dictionary shall be designed to share data and information with each other using hyperlinks within each item and will also link to existing and future CAMS training video materials currently hosted on a separate VA SharePoint site also on VA’s intranet as part of the content…”
“The contractor shall be responsible for the following:
- Review of related background material related to the CAI database platform including existing user guide information and existing video training material, CAMS Points of Contact (POCs) and Technical Subject Matter Experts.
- Development of a written outline, development strategy and timeline for the development of (1) an online permissions-based Data Dictionary for CAI which will be available online to CAI users through VA’s intranet on VA’s SharePoint The Data Dictionary shall record each data element and its attributes including, but not limited to: data element name, location in the hierarchy, data field type, definition, minimum length, maximum length, dependent data elements, data fields, examples, associated business rule(s), optional or required field, etc.
- Development of a written outline, development strategy and timeline for development of (2) an updated and online permissions-based User Guide for CAI which will be available online to CAI users through VA’s intranet. The User Guide should be organized similar to the CAI database application itself and have the ability to link to other content on the VA intranet including the CAI Data Dictionary and the existing OAEM training videos as well as a versioning page to track releases and features of the CAI software…”
