Notice ID: 36C10X21P0154

Contract Award Number: 36C10X21P0154

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) has a requirement for subject matter expertise in software application development and SQL Server T-SQL support to meet the critical need for system support while OAA begins the ATO process for all software systems.

This activity proposes to negotiate a Hybrid FFP/LH, non-competitive sole-source award with Veteran Engineering and Technology, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for the procurement of subject matter expertise in software application development and SQL Server T-SQL support to meet the critical need for system support while OAA begins the Authority to Operate (ATO) process for all software systems.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plays a leadership role in defining the education of future health care professionals that helps meet the changing needs of the Nation’s health care delivery system. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) trains nearly 125,000 health professions trainees annually. As one of the Department’s four statutory missions, VA conducts an education and training program for health professions students and residents to enhance the quality of care provided to Veteran patients within the VHA healthcare system. OAA is requesting a Hybrid Firm-Fixed Labor Hours contract for subject matter expertise in software application development and SQL Server T-SQL support to meet the critical need for system support while OAA begins the ATO process for all software systems. The ATO process will require current Data Management and Support Center (DMC) staff to devote 100 percent effort leaving little time to support and implement mission-critical systems.
